Trinity Hill Gimblett Gravels Chardonnay 2014 (Hawke’s Bay)
Trinity Hill winemaker Warren Gibson’s chardonnays have become every bit as terrific as his reds. This new chard is a very funky, flinty specimen, with layers of mealiness over bright fresh fruit. It cuts a lively swathe across the palate, full of verve and energy. It would be great with smoked kahawai.
