The Last Shepherd 2017 (Hawke’s Bay)
Redolent of violets and roses this is a great example of a Syrah that leads with its bouquet. The palate is supportive with bright fruits, cracked pepper and some lightly charred vanillin oak. The package is completed with a well framed structure and ample tannins.
