St Hallett Blackwell Shiraz 2015 (Barossa Valley, SA)
Named after the label’s senior winemaker Stuart Blackwell, this is a lovely, vibrant expression. Delicious clean dark fruit, overlaid with cinnamon and vanillin oak characters, sits at its core. Silky light, tannins provide the scaffolding. It has richness, but elegance is not sacrificed. Serve it alongside slow-cooked lamb ribs. (C)
