Church Road Grand Reserve Hawke’s Bay Chardonnay 2013
Winemaker Chris Scott had wonderful fruit to work with in 2013 and used it to ‘grand’ effect in this limited release wine. Layers of oak toast and smoky complexity lift and enhance the ripe fruit, making a bold, weighty statement in the mouth. Bring this one out with warm smoked salmon and dill sauce.
